Short answer
Pay $350. We meet the car. You get scan data, a hands-on and undercar look, a road test when it is safe, photos, and a written buy, walk, or negotiate. We are licensed and insured. We do not sell the car, so there is no conflict.
Why Bay Area cars need more than a glance
Clear Lake, Seabrook, Kemah, and Galveston eat brake hardware and grounds. Flood-adjacent titles show up on Facebook every week. A seller’s ‘it runs great’ does not include the oil in the bellhousing.
The seven steps
Book the car (VIN, asking price, seller address). Arrive as your mechanic, not theirs. Scan stored, pending, and permanent codes plus the battery. Hands-on mechanical. Undercar for rust, impact, and leaks. Road test when legal and safe. Written buy / walk / negotiate with photos.
What we will not do
We will not rubber-stamp a car because the seller is in a hurry. We will not take a cut of the deal. We will not skip the undercar look because the lot is dusty. If the car is a walk, you hear it before money moves.
